Watermelon Chaff Chips (Dehydrated)

Ingredients

  • 1 large watermelon
  • Pinch of sea salt or cinnamon (optional)
  • 1–2 tsp cassava flour (optional)
  • Blender

Instructions

    Cut watermelon into chunks and blend until fully liquid.

    Strain through a nut milk bag — the pulp left behind is the chaff.

    Spread the chaff very thinly on parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

    Season with salt or cinnamon if desired.

    Oven method: ~170°F/75°C, door slightly open, 4–6 hours until crisp.

    Dehydrator method: 135°F (57°C), 6–8 hours.

    Break into chip-like pieces once dry.
