Ingredients

  • 2 stalks fresh lemongrass (white base + green leaf)
  • 2–3 cups filtered water
  • A thin slice of ginger (optional)

Instructions

    Bruise the stem and roll the leaves to release their compounds.

    Cut into 2–3 inch pieces.

    Add to a small pot with 2 cups of water.

    Simmer everything on low for 20–35 minutes.

    Strain and cool.
