Ingredients
- 2 cups organic gluten-free flour
- 1 packet active dry yeast (premium or organic)
- 1/4 tsp organic ground nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp organic cinnamon
- 1 tsp organic vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp pink salt
- 1/4 cup pure honey
- 3/4 cup spring water
- 4 cups oil (avocado or coconut) for frying
- 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
Instructions

Warm the spring water until just lukewarm, add the yeast, stir, and cover. Let sit ~5 minutes until foamy.

In a separate bowl, mix the gluten-free flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, and pink salt.

Add the activated yeast mixture, honey, and vanilla to the dry ingredients. Mix until a smooth dough forms (add a splash more water if dry).

Preheat the oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.

Scoop the dough using an ice cream scoop or two tablespoons and gently drop into the hot oil.

Fry each side for 3–5 minutes until golden brown.

Remove and place on a cotton or paper towel to absorb excess oil.

Serve warm — optionally with raisins mixed into the dough.
